This dining table, made from plywood rescued from a home renovation, highlights the undervalued beauty of a material that’s usually hidden away. Cut into strips and laminated together to show the layers that give plywood its strength, this table showcases the raw beauty of this material. Painstakingly sculpted to a smooth surface and sealed simply with wood wax, this table is a natural beauty and easy to maintain. The oval top sits on a rescued white tulip base. 36” wide, 48” long, 30” tall.
This organic-shaped freeform table is made from individual cut pieces of beautiful hard wood scraps salvaged from a woodworker’s shop in upstate New York. Arranged in a mosaic that has been flooded in a deep black epoxy setting, this table is art on four legs. The natural woodgrain contrasts with its black surround. The table is sealed with polyurethane, making it hard-wearing and easy to clean. 32” long, 28” wide, 18” tall.
